I’ve had the honor of helping clients make their visions come alive. I’m looking for new experiences of all kinds. I am always trying to improve myself. I seek to use my skills to attract attention, earn results, and to add beauty into the world.
Attained a BA in Visual Arts, with a concentration in Graphic Design (also known as Visual Communication). Minor was in history.
Activities and Societies: Member of the Phi Alpha Theta Society. Member of FMU Honors (2014-2017). Secretary of the FMU Art Club (2016-2017). Earned Life Scholarship and the FMU Fine Arts Scholarship. Was on the Dean’s List consistently from spring 2015 to fall 2016.
As the supervisor of the graphic design department, I have designed flyers, booklets, postcards, etc. for various church events. From the initial planning to the final print-out, I am involved in every part of the way. I helped plan several events as well as design materials that were completed in advance, including one that hosted over 200 people from various organizations (The Center for Earth Ethics, Sierra Club, WEACT, USCAN, etc.) Was promoted two months into the job.
Design and assist with two quarterly magazines produced by Grice Graphics and Advertising: The Florentine Scene and Pee Dee Rod and Gun. Contributed designs for advertisements and layouts. These ads included names such as Ford, State Farm, and Florence-Darlington Technical College. Communicated with artists and advertisers to make sure they had the utmost satisfaction.
Assisted and problem-solved with directing patrons and students with getting necessary materials. I sorted and reshelved media.
I have helped design Hope in Action, the House of Hope’s quarterly newsletter. I also design flyers and other material as time permits. The House of Hope of the Pee Dee not only helps the homeless get on their feet, but also provide job opportunities and a new lease on life. It’s a cause I strongly support.
